Streamlined handling, real-time tracking, and secure logistics for every shipment size.
F U N D A M E N T A L Freight offer multi-modal transport of oversized cargo based on road and sea freight forwarding. Together with our partners, we will plan in detail and select the appropriate means and the optimal route with the support of the necessary permits for the transport of oversized goods.
When it comes to large machines or industrial installations, optimizing transport costs and planning the entire logistics process in an optimal way is a particularly challenging task.
With our Project Cargo department, we provide specialized teams for the organization of such transport assignments. Our experts have extensive experience in organizing the entire logistics engineering, and overseeing the shipments from both end-to-end and from A-to-Z.
Whether it’s out-of-gauge machinery or a complete production line, we fully understand the challenges facing this sector. F U N D A M E N T A L Freight is here to take care of the process for industrial projects at every stage.
General Technical Plan for Transportation:
Option A: Port (Container Depot)>Unstuff >Warehouse-C > Jetty at CTG >Load onto Barge> Project Jetty > Unload and drop to Project Stake yard/Storage area.
Option B: Port (Container Depot) > Unstuff >Load on Vehicle > store at Warehouse-P >Delivery by vehicle at Project
Option C: Deliver the Container from Port > Project site Unloading point> Return the Container.
Option D: Unstuff at Port >Deliver by Vehicle to Project
Option E: Unload onto barge from Vessel> Barge to Project Site Jetty > Unload and deliver to Project. (H/L , ODC & GC).
Option A: Port (Container Depot)>Unstuff>Warehouse-C > Jetty at CTG >Load onto Barge> Project Jetty > Unload and drop to Project Stake yard/Storage area.
1. Cargo would unload at Container Jetty (cont. Depo) from Vessel
2. From container jetty cargo would unstuff then deliver to a warehouse at Chittagong. Warehouse location: near to a jetty.
3. From the warehouse cargo would load on barge using a jetty
4. From Jetty at CTG the barge will be sailing to Project site
5. After cargo reach to the Project jetty ground level work would be done then unload the cargo by useful equipment (Crane /Forklift) then load on a vehicle (truck /Trailer /pickup then deliver to the Project Store Yard.
Option B: Port (Container Depot) > Unstuff >Load on Vehicle > store at Warehouse-P >Delivery by vehicle at Project
1. Container unload from Vessel to container jetty (depot)
2. Cargo would be unloaded from container and load on vehicle
3. Cargo loaded vehicles will be reached at the warehouse near to project site
4. From Warehouse-P cargo delivery
Option C: Deliver the Container from Port > Unload at Project > Return the Container
1. After container unload from Vessel to container jetty, containers would be delivered by a trailer from Ctg port to Project site.
2. At Project site Container would be open and unloaded.
3. After Unload the cargo empty container would be send back to Container Depo
4. This option is the best option if it can be executed by doing road development.
Note: Recommended but need to develop the road if needed.
Option D: Unstuff at Port >Deliver by Vehicle to Project
1. After Container unload from Vessel, it would be unstuff at container jetty and delivery by vehicle (truck/trailer)
2. Due to the present road condition small vehicles such as Truck and small pickup or covered vans could be a suitable mobilization option to choose.
Note: Recommended
1. Delivery in this mode would be a reason of cargo damage due to bad road condition and jerking during travel.
2. Good packaging might reduce the damage of the cargo.
3. Considering the road condition and critical transportation, this could be a chosen option for the mobilization accepting the minimum damage of cargo.
4. Damage can be less by using safety and supporting material on caring vehicles while loading the cargo from the port.
Option E: Unload onto barge from Vessel> Barge to Project Site Jetty > Unload and deliver to Project. (H/L, ODC & GC)
1. All H/L, ODC & GC cargo can unload onto barge and mobilize it to the project site after customs clearance
2. At Project site Jetty operation can be manual (ro-ro) or by Crane then load onto a trailer then it can be place to the foundation or stake.
Jetty
1. A temporary jetty needs to be built in the project area on a suitable place where water draft is more than 3 meter during the whole monsoon period
2. Length & Height would be dependent on the water level
3. During all monsoon H/L, ODC and GC can be unloaded by using the jetty
4. After the end of period jetty dismantle should be done as per BIWTA (Bangladesh Inland River Transportation Authority.
